Class Details:

Students will be required to wear masks to attend this class.

Learn to use log cabin construction to knit a sampler afghan with slip stitches, yarn overs, stripes, and other fun knitting techniques. With this method, there are no seams, as each section is built onto the previous ones! (Caution: This technique is highly addictive. You're been warned!)

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, easy colorwork

Supplies for Class:
  • Worsted weight yarn (for the full blanket: 400 yds in each of 4 colors; for class, just bring one ball in each of the 4 colors)
  • 29" Circular knitting needle, US size 9 (5.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
  • 1 Split ring stitch marker
  • sticky notes
  •  [Optional:1 Pentagonal trapezohedron (10-sided die) and 1 tetrahedron (4-sided die)]
