Class Details:
You got a hole in your beautiful hand-knit sweater, now what? In this workhop, you'll learn various techniques for visible and invisible mending, for holes of various sizes. You'll be able to use these techniques to repair any knitted item, from socks to shawls to sweaters.
Homework:
Using a light, smooth worsted-weight wool yarn (example: Berroco Ultra Wool, Cascade 220) and US7 (4.50 mm) or US8 (5.0 mm) needles knit two (2) 8" by 8" stockinette squares. Be emotionally prepared to cut holes into these!
Supplies for Class:

• Your two knitted swatches
• small sharp scissors
• a crochet hook (3.5 mm to 4.5 mm size)
• a darning needle
• 50 yards of worsted weight wool yarn in a contrasting color
• double pointed needles in the same size as the needles you used to knit the swatches
• a spool of reinforcing thread (instructor will bring extras for purchase in class)
• pen and paper for taking notes
