Some shawl patterns cause you to knit really nice tidy edges, and some really fall short of that mark. Let Amy show you how to read ahead in your directions and make some choices that will help you have great successes with your edges.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, chart reading

Bring two colors of yarn (partial balls are fine, just for swatching) that is smooth and that knits at 4–5 sts per inch and appropriate size needles (straight or circular).
