Learn to install a zipper into any of your knits! In this class, we will use my three-step method to install a zipper, then go over different techniques to finish the zipper so that there is a professional clean edge. We will also learn how to make your knits zipper friendly.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, working in the round, have knit a few accessories, basic finishing techniques

Make two of the following swatch:
Using your desired method, cast on 15 sts.
Work in garter stitch (knit every row) for 30 rows.  
Bind off.

Supplies are optional to account for all learning styles. If you wish to knit along with us in class, you will need:
• A skein of worsted weight yarn with appropriately sized needles (gauge is not crucial)
• Snips
• Sewing needle & thread
• 7" all-purpose zipper - This can be found anywhere fabric and sewing notions are sold, including Walmart and Michaels.  A longer zipper may be substituted.
• Dritz wash away wonder tape or straight pins
