Class Details:
There are so many things to consider when substituting yarns: grist, fiber characteristics, ply structure, and more. We'll learn the best ways to identify a yarn's attributes and explore specific substitution tools. We'll learn the importance of grist and how to calculate it; we'll demystify wpi. We'll learn how to find the closest match and when we need it and explore scenarios when we want to change something about the yarn and how to make the most educated choices so we can find the match we're looking for.
