Learn the magic of natural dyes right from the comfort of home! working with easy-to-find kitchen scraps, we'll cover the basics of natural dyeing on wool (including learning how to not shock your fibres and the differences between dyeing on minimally processed yarns vs. superwash). students will learn how to dye with fresh/foraged/homegrown dyes as well as how to dye with extracts purchased from reputable suppliers. newbie dyers will learn a fun skill in an easily accessible way while more established dyers will be able to expand their existing knowledge by learning how to determine what local plants might hold great dyeing potential, how to build a deeper relationship with plants through the dyeing process, and experimenting on dye results with different breeds and wool blends.
