Spend two fun-filled hours with Melissa Leapman exploring unusual—but still uncomplicated!—slip stitch patterns. These fascinating fabrics use just one color per row. (It can be our little secret.) Come learn color knitting the easy way!

Homework:

Three pieces as follows:
#1: With a medium-colored worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles, cast on 21 stitches.
Work K1P1 Rib until the piece measures approximately 1". Slip stitches onto holder with the yarn still attached.

#2: As #1.

#3: With a medium-colored worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles, cast on 23 stitches.
Work K1P1 Rib until the piece measures approximately 1". Slip stitches onto holder with the yarn still attached.

Supplies for Class:

Class handout (will be available in the Event Hub the week of class) printed and ready to go; 3 homework swatches; appropriate-size needles; smooth, worsted-weight yarn in at least 2 colors that sharply contrast with your homework color(s); sticky notes.
