Learn how to make festive ornaments from your leftover yarn stash! In this class you’ll learn tips and tricks for making perfect pom-poms. Then with a little felt, floss, and craft glue, we’ll transform them into adorable ornaments for your holiday decor or gift toppers.

Instructions included for the Woolly Sheep, Holiday Hedgehog, Rainbow Sno Cone and more!

Homework:

Make 2 medium sized pompom prior to class, approx. 2” in diameter. Using the templates provided in the class handout (download it here), cut felt pieces.

Supplies for Class:
  • Pompom maker
  • Scrap yarn in a variety of colors
  • 6" x 9" wool blend felt: black, white, red, green & tan
  • Fabric scissors
  • Disappearing-ink pen
  • White craft glue
  • Baker’s twine (or cord for hanger loops)
  • Black and white embroidery floss
  • Embroidery needle
  • Straight pins
  • Wonder clips (optional)
  • Freezer paper (optional)
