In this lesson we will go through one of the many ways to add color to cables. We will work cables using the stranded knitting technique, giving it more life and interest! During the class you will learn:
• How to position the yarns to work with two colours correctly in this technique.
• How to interpret and read charts specific to this technique.
• Tips and tricks for perfect colour cables.

We will make swatches so you feel confident and can learn everything in detail.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, working in the round, cables; no previous experience of stranded knitting is necessary.

Supplies for Class:

• US 6 ( 4 mm) needles
• DK yarn in at least 3/4 different colours, 25 gr each at least with a good ply and twist (no singles or too much hairy please)
• scissors
• stitch markers
