Nic Corrigan first discovered knitting machines through her fashion design degree and fell in love with machine knitting; by adding speed to hand knitting, you could take a simple cone of yarn and turn it into whatever came into your head! Nic was gifted her first domestic machine (a Knitmaster fine gauge) and never looked back. After university she worked in the industry as a commercial knitwear designer for seven years before growing disillusioned with fast fashion and wanting to focus more on the actual design & creativity that had been taught at school. In 2014 Nic launched Whitehall Studio and she now designs, makes, and sells her own knitwear from her studio in Yorkshire, UK.
