Class Details:

Brioche knitting is incredibly popular in the knitting world right now. Learn how to work this intriguing “ribbed” stitch during this workshop. Brioche stitch brings a unique cellular texture to knitted items and is perfect for cozy accessories and simple sweaters. We will practice working single-color brioche before beginning another sample in two colors. Pattern ideas to practice your new skills are provided at the end of the class. There is a materials list for this class.

Technique Requirements: Students must know how to cast on, knit, and purl.

Supplies for Class:

2 contrasting colors of worsted-weight yarn and size US 7 (4.5 mm) or 8 (5 mm) knitting needles—one 24" circular needle. Note: circular needles are necessary for the two-color swatch.
