Explore basic cables so knitting them can become an intuitive experience! We'll discuss:
- symbols and meaning (direction, position, and type of stitch to be knitted)
- ideas for how to make a chart more reading friendly
- how to knit basic cables without using a cable needle

- Download the handout (available the week of class)
- 20 yds of DK to worsted weight yarn in light color
- suitable needles for the chosen yarn
- two suitable cable needles
- highlight markers in different colors
- paper and pencil for notes
