Had fun in Flawless Finishing? Or perhaps you are a finishing pro that wants to jump to the next level in your knitwear-finishing. In this class we will bypass basic seaming and jump into more complex finishing techniques. At the end of this class you will have the skills to conquer the finishing techniques of any project. Learn how to set-in different types of sleeves, master duplicate stitch while weaving in your tails, learn how to line up horizontal stripes and more! This class has minimal homework.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease

Homework:

Swatches #1 AND #2: PLEASE MAKE TWO IDENTICAL SWATCHES! Using 2 different colors of worsted weight yarn (color “A” and Color “B”) and a size US #7 OR #8 straight OR circular Knitting needle, cast on 18 stitches with color “A”. Work in Stockinette Stitch (Row #1 Knit, Row#2 Purl) as followed: Rows 1-8 – Color “A” Rows- 9-12- Color “B” Rows 13-20- Color “A” Bind off all stitches loosely!

Supplies for Class:

• Two skeins (different colors) of worsted weight yarn

• 1 size US# 7 or 8 straight OR circular knitting needles

• One size US#4,5 OR 6 straight OR circular Knitting Needles

• Darning Needle

• Scissors
