Class Details:

Sock knitting is fun but can be a bit confusing with so many options. This class is designed to help you with some of those options, specifically sock heels. In this class I will be teaching you about the pros and cons of the heel flap & gusset, afterthought heel, and short-row heel, as well as the variations of each. We will cover when to use a certain heel, choosing a heel that is the best fit for your feet, and how to swap out a heel in a sock pattern. We will also do a side-by-side comparison of all three heels. So if you have ever had a question about sock heels, which one to knit, when to use it and why one instead of another, this is the class for you.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round, have knit a few accessories, knowledge of sock construction, short rows
