In this workshop, you will learn a new type of Single Increase called Twincrease. It is an exclusive workshop only for Virtual Knitting LIVE!
I’m very excited to introduce to you this newly invented single increase which is completely symmetrical. As far as I know, all existing single increases (to make two stitches out of one stitch) are asymmetrical. I believe it will be an important addition to the increase/decrease family.
First we will discuss it theoretically: the already existing single increases will be reviewed and the structure of the new Twincrease will be explained. Then we'll start playing with it! You will learn how to work Twincrease, both knit and purl, as well as its modifications—Twin-over and Trincrease. We will talk about when and why we can use these new types of increase. The necessary handout will be provided in the week of the event.
