Class Details:

In this class, we will go through the ins and outs of understanding how to work from patterns of the past. We'll go over the way vintage patterns are organized, how to make yarn substitutions, and convert antiquated needle sizes. Once we all feel confident in the pattern information, it's time to make size adjustments! Together, we'll go through the important body measurements needed, and how to do basic knitter math to get a well-fitting garment. There will be a sample pattern from the 1940s we'll look over together, but feel free to bring a copy of a vintage pattern you're interested in knitting too!
