Class Details:

In this stranded crochet colorwork class, we will learn fundamental skill, tips and tricks to create a polished project in this fun colorwork technique! Select your favorite solids, speckled, or gradient color combinations to crochet my Illumination Cowl, which will steep you in colorwork confidence and let your creativity fly. Students will learn how to create the central single crochet, how to transition between colors, why and when to catch floats, how to read charts, and efficient yarn management.

Supplies for Class:

• DK-weight yarn, 270 yards main color + 170 yards contrast color (this is the total yardage to complete the Illumination Cowl. Feel free to bring more scrap yarn for the practice swatches.)
• US I/5.50 mm crochet hook
• 5 locking stitch markers (optional)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Pattern: Illumination Cowl, available via Ravelry or on Vincent's website
