Class Details:
In this class students will learn how to construct approximately 15 different cast-ons and the different possibilities for their uses. This will include 7 versions of the long-tail cast-on. Students will also learn how to calculate yarn for the “tail” in the various long-tail versions.
Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off

Supplies to Bring:
Two different sizes of knitting needles, scissors, crochet hook, 2 balls of worsted-weight yarn in a light color. The needles should be 2 sizes apart and appropriately sized for the yarn. The crochet hook should also be appropriately sized for the yarn.
