Class Details:
In this class we will go over all the techniques and methods required to knit the Changes shawl, and by doing so you will be “leveling up” your knitting, by learning new tricks and skills. We will be practicing all of this on a mini version of the shawl so that you can learn the methods of shaping involved as well as the stitch patterns used. There will be lots of techniques covered in this class, from mosaic knitting, to broken Fisherman’s rib, wrapped stitches, working I-cord as you go, as well as tips on picking up stitches, yarn management when working stripes, along with several other stitch patterns & technique tips. Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease; have knit a few accessories

Supplies for Class:

4mm (US6) and 3.5mm (US4) needles, fingering-weight yarn (50 g of a main color and a selection of 20-g mini skeins that go together but contrast with the main color. Mina suggests a solid or tonal main color, but the minis can be any dye style). Pen, paper, scissors, scales (optional).
