Class Details:
The pinwheel scrap blanket is a different, more travel-friendly take on the popular mitred square scrappy blankets that many knitters enjoy creating. The modular nature of this pattern makes it very travel friendly and easy to pick up and work on in small chunks. The seaming method is also very simple and easy to do with a crochet hook, making this a much quicker method than using a mattress-stitch seam. In this class we will cover all the techniques required to work these squares on some mini squares. We will learn how to use German short rows to create the triangles, how to seam the squares closed as you are working them, as well as how to seam the squares together at the end to create your blanket. Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off; have knit a few accessories
