Class Details:
The Ponchini is the new shawl: a versatile garment with so many design possibilities. This is your chance to cast on one with the help of the Ponchini Master himself, Steven, as he guides you through your first Ponchini or your own design idea. Experience the magic of mixology, taking a variety of yarns from different brands, weights, and fiber contents to create a magical and unique wrap. Use one of the patterns from Ponchini Vol. 1 and learn its structure, seaming, and wearability. Steven will teach you his favorite tips and tricks as he guides you through your favorite Ponchini, whether it’s your first or your 10th.

Supplies for Class:
• An open mind
• A pen or pencil and a notebook or design sketchbook to keep notes
• 5-7 yarns ready to knit in a variety of colors, including a fingering weight and a lace weight each in different fibers like mohair and silk to be combined into a heavier weight, as well as a chunky weight.
• A variety of needle sizes from US 6 to US 15
