Class Details:
Join renowned toy designer, Susan B. Anderson, to learn loads of toy-knitting techniques and tips all while creating an adorable reversible sheep! In class Susan will demonstrate skills used in this toy including Judy’s Magic Cast-On, picking up stitches, I-cord and pick-up, finishing techniques, stuffing tips and face embroidery. Many of the skills can be used in all sorts of projects beyond toys. Lots of individual attention will be provided in class. We will have so much fun creating our reversible sheep. Everyone you know will want one so be careful who you show! Sheep Body
With MC and using the long-tail cast on, CO 24 sts, packing 8 sts on each of 3 dpns. Place a locking st marker in the first st for BOR and join to work in the rnd, being careful not to twist sts.
Place a locking st marker into the CO edge at BOR, and place another locking st marker into the CO edge 12 sts away on the opposite end of the end. Leave both of these markers in place throughout pattern.
Set up rnd: Knit.

Begin first Body
Next and inc rnd: *P1, p1-f/b; rep from * to end (12 sts inc’d)—36 sts; 12 on each needle.
Begin seed st
Next rnd: *K1, p1; rep from * to end.
Next rnd: *P1, k1; rep from * to end.
Cont in seed st for 12 more rnds in total, alternating the last two rounds.

Begin Back shaping
Next rnd dec rnd: *[K1, p1] two times, k2tog; rep from * to end (6 sts dec’d)—30 sts rem.
Next rnd dec rnd: *P1, k1, p1, k2tog; rep from * to end (6 sts dec’d)—24 sts rem.
Next rnd: *K1, p1; rep from * to end.
Next rnd dec rnd: *P1, k1, p2tog; rep from * to end (6 sts dec’d)—18 sts rem.
Next rnd dec rnd: *K1, p1, k2tog, p1, k1; rep from * to end (3 sts dec’d)—15 sts rem.
Next rnd dec rnd: *K2tog, p1, k2tog; rep from * to end (6 sts dec’d)—9 sts rem; 3 sts on each needle.

Break yarn and thread onto tapestry needle. Draw through rem sts two times and cinch closed. Weave in tail and end from the CO and trim.
