Class Details:
Shawls and shawlettes are a great way to show off one or two skeins of very special yarn. How are these shapes constructed? We’ll knit through mini versions of my favorite shapes: half-pi, top-down triangle, asymmetric triangle, top-down elongated crescent, and sideways crescent. Learn these shapes and make up your own shawl! Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease; have knit a few accessories
Homework:
None
Supplies for Class:
50g/150 yards smooth, light colored sport or DK weight yarn, and straight or 24” circular needles in the appropriate size for your yarn. (It will be easier to learn with a thicker yarn and a slightly longer needle tip.)
