The practice swatches will include both single and double-sided lace patterns. Technique Requirements: Note: Working through the pre-class assignment will give you the skills needed to meet the prerequisite requirements.
Homework:
Read Part 1 of my 2-part Lace Article originally featured in the Winter 2007/’08 and the Spring/Summer 2008 issues of Vogue Knitting. It is located in the “Press” section of my website. Follow the instructions and knit the 4 swatches in the first article. The articles and their accompanying lace charts are posted in a PDF format and can be downloaded. The web address is: http://www.shirleypaden.com. Note: Bring the swatches to class.
