Everyone is knitting multicolor textured stitch patterns right now. Explore how easy (and fun!) tuck stitch knitting can be. Best of all, these interesting fabrics are made using just one color per row! Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; chart reading; have knit a few accessories

Homework: 4 swatches as follows: #1: With smooth light-colored (and solid colored) worsted weight or DK weight yarn, and appropriate size needles, cast on 27 stitches. Knit one row. Purl one row. Slip stitches onto a holder. #2: With smooth light-colored (and solid colored) worsted weight or DK weight yarn and appropriate size needles, cast on 25 stitches. Knit one row. Purl one row. Knit one row. Purl one row. Slip stitches onto a holder. #3: With smooth light-colored (and solid colored) worsted weight or DK weight yarn and appropriate size needles, cast on 23 stitches. Knit one row. Purl one row. Slip stitches onto a holder. #4: With smooth light-colored (and solid colored) worsted weight or DK weight yarn and appropriate size needles, cast on 25 stitches.
