Cable stitches are both decorative and functional. They provide a sculptural look as well as adding warmth to knitwear. If you are new to cables, this class will help you understand how to knit cable stitches. This class will cover how to read charts of cable stitches, working with right-leaning and left-leaning cables, working cables in the rounds vs. flat, and making cable stitches both with and without a cable needle. Using cables to decorate knitwear can add some lovely visual interest, and we will also introduce some fun ideas on how to do that in this class. Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off
