Whether you’re new to colorwork or have knitted a simple accessory with colorwork and are ready for more, this class will help you get started with some fundamental understandings and techniques. We will start with some basics such as reading charts and choosing patterns. There are many factors that go into the making of a successful knit,, such as color choice, color dominance, even tension, and managing long floats, and we will work with all these elements in the class. Adding to the fun: Different ways of steeking will be introduced, so when you are ready to work with garments that require steeking, you will have to knowledge and confidence to do so.
