Class Details:
In this class, you will learn mosaic knitting taught via the Casapinka design, "Another Brick in the Shawl." You will leave the class confident in knitting almost any mosaic pattern that comes your way. You will be shocked at how simple the technique for mosaic knitting is and wonder why you didn’t learn it sooner—and you will also get a digital download of Casapinka's pattern. No need to bring yarn to do the pattern (you can buy that at the marketplace that evening!)—just scrap yarn is needed. Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease; have knit a few accessories
Homework:
None
Supplies for Class:
3 scrap colors of fingering-weight yarn (20 yards each): one light color, one bright color, one medium or dark color. You want your yarns to have some contrast with each other. One 24" or longer US 4 or 5 needle (if you are a very loose or tight needle, adjust needle size as you usually would for shawls done on a US 5).
Materials Fee (to Be Paid Directly to the Teacher):
$0
