Class Details:
Students will learn how to purl Portuguese style, a much easier and faster method, and start working on a hat project. We are going to work the hat inside out by purling every round (which is very easy in this method) and control the tension of the yarn with both hands. By the fourth round, we introduce another color to practice stranded knitting. We are going to talk about color dominance and trapping the floats. Lastly, we will discuss decreases to finish the project. Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease; working in the round
