Harbor Yarns is at 74 Main Street in the existing Pine Tree Yarns building in the heart of historic downtown Damariscotta.

Harbor Yarns is located in Damariscotta Maine, enveloped by both the beauty of the sky and the water. The clear sea air and the calm harbor waters are an inspirational spark for creativity, where life and knitting are easy…just as it should be.
Being surrounded by nature’s true blues created my love of indigo. I call indigo “blue magic”, as I spend many happy days dipping yarn into the kettle pools of the natural dye, always surprised at what might emerge. It is a visual evolution of color development. Where science meets art.
