Class Details:
Have you ever asked yourself any of the following questions: What are British Longwool Sheep? How many different longwool breeds are there? How did these sheep arrive in the United States? What is so important about these sheep? What makes their fiber special? What kind of projects are best for these fibers? As a passionate shepherdess who raises rare British Sheep breeds including Wensleydale, Teeswater, and Leicester Longwools on her farm in Pennsylvania, Jeri will share information regarding the importance of these magnificent creatures, their wool characteristics, and uses. As Jeri's primary mission is preservation through education, she is more than happy to answer any questions from the audience.
