Class Details:
Learn some clever tricks and techniques to enhance your sweaters and cardigans with cool cuffs and collars of your choice
• Provisional Winding Cast On
• Crochet Cast On
• 3-needle Bind Off
• Stretchy Bind Off
• Knitted on (sideways) (cuff/collar) to live stitches
• Knitting on and attaching a striped sideways cuff
• Attach cuff and collar to a cast off (or cast on) edge
• Set up a double or lined cuff
• Invisible pick up for lining
• Adjusting the spacing of sideways knitting to the straight
Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease
Homework:
Prepare 1 swatch: Provisionally cast on 30 sts, work 10 rows in plain stocking stitch – do not cast off & do not cut the yarn, leave live stitches at both edges ready to go for the class

1 ball each of DK/Worsted weight yarn in TWO contrasting colours (smooth, bright, solid or semi-solid)
1 circular needle: US 6 / 4 mm (32" – 40" / 60 – 100 cm) with a flexible cable
1 circular needle: US 1.5-3 /2.5-3 mm (32" – 40" / 60 – 80 cm) with a flexible cable
