Class Details:
Make a hat that fits perfectly, using any kind of yarn you like, knitting at any gauge with Martina Behm's unusual hat patterns! In this class, we will finish a mini version of the Tensfield or Feather and Flap hat so you can practise all the required techniques, get help with the (basic) calculations this pattern requires and move on confidently to make one for yourself or a loved one. The hat is knit back and forth in garter stitch, requires no seaming, is adjusted to the wearer's head size during the knitting, knits up superquick and is a fun project also suited for adventurous beginners. Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; increase/decrease
Homework:
None
Supplies for Class:
Yarn DK weight and up, (a gradient or self-striping yarn is especially suitable), matching needles, 2 ring stitch markers, a tennis ball (or similarly sized ball) to adjust the Mini-hat to.
