Meg Swansen will discuss Elizabeth Zimmermann’s unique approach to knitting baby garments. Elizabeth’s Baby Surprise Jacket pattern is well known to knitters. Less well known are her other inventive designs for babies and toddlers. A slide show of designs (caps and bonnets, booties and blankets, sweaters and jackets) will augment Meg’s lecture on her mother’s innovative garments beyond the BSJ.
