Class Details:
Dimensional tuck knitting is a technique that transforms a simple flat stockinette fabric into one that will bend, fold, and double back on itself to create exciting new depth and texture. In class you will learn the basic stitches, how to read the charts, and how to see the stitch pattern within the charts. Next, we explore the impact of your choice of background stitch and what the scale of the stitches will do on dimensional tucks stitches. Finally, you will learn the tips and tricks of measuring gauge and working dimensional tucks in the round. Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; knit or purl stitches together

Supplies for Class:
Light colored, smooth, worsted-weight yarn (Cascade 220 or similar). Needles appropriate for worsted-weight yarn to create a cohesive, pliable fabric. Scissors, note paper and pen, calculator.
