Class Details:
Have you ever chosen skeins that look like they’d be beautiful together only to find the combination wasn’t what you hoped, or do you feel intimated by choosing colors for stranded projects? In this class, you’ll learn to combine colors that harmonize while ensuring the colorwork motifs have enough contrast against the background. While knitting a small swatch in the round, you’ll learn techniques for successful stranded colorwork like color dominance, float tension, and avoiding the tangling of strands. After completing this class, you’ll be ready to tackle your first colorwork sweater or accessory and choose colors with confidence. Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; working in the round
