Class Details:
We’ll discuss the history of the Icelandic Lopapeysa and construction methods. We’ll look at some patterns and talk about color! We’ll try our hand at designing our own colorwork charts. Then we’ll cast on a swatch and explore some color options for our own sweaters.
Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease; working in the round; easy colorwork; have knit a whole garment; chart reading

This class is a great way to use up worsted-weight scraps! Bring them all, or bring the lopi yarn you're dying to use up! Also bring size 7 or 8 24" circular needles
