Maddie Harvey is a knitwear designer and workshop teacher living and working in Edinburgh, UK. A former primary school teacher, she loves investigating textures, shapes, and color combinations in her design work. Maddie creates knitting patterns that are both interesting and intuitive to knit. In addition to her self-published patterns, Maddie’s designs have appeared in PomPom Quarterly, Knit Now, The Knitter, and Amirisu Magazine. She teaches regularly with Knitting for All, as well as at knitting events around the UK, including her local Edinburgh Yarn Festival. Maddie is passionate about helping knitters develop their creative confidence, and uses her previous teaching experience to ensure workshop attendees have a successful and fun learning experience.
