Jewell Washington owns and operates NorthKnits, a knit and crochet all-in-one pattern shop and blog to keep makers inspired. Jewell learned to knit in college and now has an extensive yarn collection that she's quite proud of. She pursues simple living through her love for knit DIY, pattern designs, and encouragement to embrace slow living. As the founder of Our Maker Life (a movement for makers by makers), she's connected more than 100,000 fellow fiber creatives in the knit, crochet, and yarn industry.
