Want to adapt garter stitch from autumn wear to lighter spring/summer-ready weight garments? If so, this class is for you. While garter can appear as an intimidating stitch, it is quite simple and beautiful, and a beautiful basic stitch to begin with in the world of knitting. Once you understand basic knitting techniques, you will be able to garter stitch knit and go in the best way. As a student in this class, you will learn and become comfortable with knit/purl, cast on/bind off, working in the round, easy colorwork, and basic finishing techniques to create a seasonal scarf to enjoy knitting at home, wearing at the beach, or wherever simple sunny days take you.
