Class Details:

We will start from the wool washed and ready to be transformed. We are going to card it. We will discuss the different techniques to carding fiber and wool, and how to do it. Also, we will see the tools and how they work.

My goals for the class are:
1) Participants could use a pair of hand cards to prepare fiber
2) They could use hand carders to process a minimum of 2 ways to get the fiber ready to be spun
3) Students will learn to identify different ways to spin carded fibers to make different yarns.

Supplies for Class:

1) Pair of hand cards; 2) washed wool or other fiber (50g/2oz); 3) spinning wheel.
