Class Details:

In Austria and the Bavarian region of Germany, knitters are famous for making finely knit garments decorated with intricate traveling twisted stitches. In this class students will learn how to work this technique.
 
- Bavarian Twisted Stitches structure.
- How to read and interpret old Bavarian twisted stich charts.
- Knit twisted stitches samples

Technique Requirements: Previous experience in cable knitting preferred, also know how to work with double-pointed needles or magic loop.

Homework:

Cast on 46 sts in a circular needle or dpns and join to work in the round. Place a marker at the beginning of the round and make 1 inch of k1tbl, p1, ribbing. Let the stitches on the needles, do not cast of or cut the yarn. 

Supplies for Class:

A circular needle 3.5 to 4 mm / US 4 to 6 circular needle (to knit in magic loop) or dpns if preferred; 50 gr of sport / dk yarn.
