Yukako has been a certified instructor of SAORI Weaving since 2005. SAORI is a free-form style of weaving that was developed in Japan based on the Zen philosophy. After studying in Japan, she continued to practice, founding Loop of the Loom, where everyone can weave for self-healing, self-discovery, and self-expression. She's been guiding thousands of beginners and apprentices from all over the world. Weaving has changed her life for the better. Over the past twenty years, Loop of the Loom has evolved to teach sustainable fiber arts and crafts using ancient Japanese techniques and materials including natural dyeing, printing, spinning, and felting.
