Class Details:
Double-knitting is one of the techniques that benefits immensely from being worked using the Portuguese style. Forget uneven tension and tangled yarn! This class will cover:
• suitable materials for this type of work
• how to correctly manage both strands of yarn
• how to read and create your own double-knitting charts
• how to achieve a perfect finish (cast on, bind off, and selvedge stitches treatments)
Technique Requirements: Know the basics (knit, purl) in Portuguese style

Supplies for Class:
• 100 yards each of 2 contrast colors of DK or Worsted weight yarn
• appropriate circular knitting needles for the yarn and one size bellow also
• Tapestry needle
