If you’re a knitter or crocheter who’s always wanted to learn Tunisian, this class is for you! Join me, designer Padma R, as we enter the exciting and infinitely versatile world of Tunisian crochet.
You won’t need to buy a Tunisian crochet hook to take this class—an ordinary crochet hook will do! After the class, you will be able to decide which Tunisian hooks will work for your future projects. In this introductory class, we’ll learn the basics: the different types of Tunisian hooks, how to choose the right hook for your project, and how to construct a Tunisian crochet fabric.
In addition, you’ll learn 3 different Tunisian stitches and how to combine them for interesting effects, as well as different ways of adding colors to your work. The class handout material includes pattern recipes to make 4 different fabrics. After the class, you will be able to use these with your yarn of choice to make your own coaster, table runner, or baby blanket.
