Class Details:

Do you want to customize a pattern to your gauge? Do you lose your project notes and wish you had them organized? This class will help you to prepare an Excel file where you can store all the needed information about one project and organize tables for customizing any pattern to fit to your gauge, yarn choice, and body measurements. You will create a knitting calculator to quickly compute decreases and increases, adding stitches evenly spaced, and much more. Next time you use it for a different project, most of the work will be done.

Technique Requirements: Basic knowledge of Excel, have knit some accessories

Homework:

Make a 6 x 6-inch gauge swatch in Stockinette, block it, and read the stitch and row gauge 5 times. Calculate the average gauge.

Supplies for Class:

Working version of Excel, your swatch.
