Class Details:

We will practice short rows with wraps and turns and pick them up again while we are working on a knitted cover for our phones, small books or other small boxy objects using my pattern, Planner Protection.

Homework:

Choose a small boxy object (like a power bank, a phone, or a small book). With the yarn of your choice (sport weight or DK), cast on a number of stitches that will cover the width of the object's short edge (like the spine of the book) plus 2 (between 5 and 9 stitches).

Setup Row: kfb, place marker, knit to last stitch, place marker, m1, knit 1. Continue with Part I.

Part I: Row 1: kfb, knit to marker, slm, knit to marker, slm, m1, knit to end.

Supplies for Class:

50 g of yarn, preferably Sportweight or DK; suitable circular knitting needle, e. g. US size 3-5 (3.25-3.75 mm), length 80 cm (32 inches) or more; 2 ring stitch markers; the object you would like to make a cover for (preferably not bigger than a mobile phone).
