Class Details:
Create a fun faux fair isle look by adding embroidered detail to knit stripes. Learn basic embroidery, compound stitches and techniques for stitching on knits with tapestry wool or yarn from your own stash.
Homework:
Students will need something striped to embroider on. It can be a swatch (at least 6” x 6”), a sweater or accessory from your closet or second hand store. Note: this technique can also be done on solid knits as well, if you’d prefer!

Materials: Tapestry needle (size 16-20), tapestry wool or worsted yarn
