Class Details:

Does your head spin with all the decreasing and increasing possibilities for your projects? Do patterns that read “decrease on each edge of the row” make you want to go back to knitting scarves? Don’t fret! We’ll master the most used increases and decreases and learn which ones to pair together for beautiful, polished knits. Class discussion will provide you with a solid structure for interpreting vague patterns, too!

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, have knit a few accessories

Homework:

Using US 8 (5mm) knitting needle and medium color worsted weight yarn, cast on 28 stitches.
Row 1 (RS): knit.
Row 2 (WS): purl.
Leave the stitches on the needles and bring this to class.

Supplies for Class:

US 8 (5mm) knitting needle. Smooth worsted-weight yarn in a medium color.
