Are you just thinking of getting into knitting socks? Have you been knitting socks for a while, but are ready to try new ways to turn a heel? Lara has brought together three heels that have been unjustly lost to the ravages of time. The Balbriggan heel can only be knit from the top down. The Shaped, Joined Heel Flap can only be knit from the toe up. The most versatile of the three, the Thumb-Joint Afterthought Hat-Top Heel, can be knit in any sort of sock!
